Peter Scott has been an artist, film maker and educator for thirty years.
At school in the sixties; teaching, painting, sculpting and traveling in the seventies.
During the eighties Peter formed B#Sharp Productions producing and directing promotional videos for some of Australia's top bands, receiving the prestigeous Countdown Award for best video in 1986. Some of these music videos were also recognised by the art world by being included in the 1986 Australian Art Perspecta and in major galleries internationally.
Moving to Byron Bay in 1989, Peter soon became established as the top film technician in the area, working on many documentaries and television commercials for most of the top producers in the area and helping to establish the fledgling industry that is thriving today. Working at every level in the film industry from sound, camera and editing, to directing and producing films for international broadcast.
Peter has designed innovative web sites and taught multimedia subjects from secondary education to TAFE and at university. Recently Peter has written media courses for the NSW Department of Education and Training and has developed online educational resourses for Vocational Education and Training, TAFE NSW and Southern Cross University.
B#Sharp Productions has moved into this millenium as an independent producer of quality broadcast and innovative multimedia material.
