The Dreaming Collection
Submissions
Anybody may submit any number of haiku/senryu to The Dreaming Collection
whenever and as often as they wish. Previously published work is preferred.
Send them, in English only (apologies where applicable) within the body of an email
(no attachments)

Selection will be based on two criteria:
quality
relevance
Relevance is to Australian history, landscape, flora, fauna, ethos and customs.
I will prefer haiku that capture something of the ethos or character of Australia,
and/or indicate its seasons, rather than haiku which simply name Australian fauna,
flora, places, etc. I urge you to look through the site and read the About
pages before submitting.
Initially the site was stocked with my seed-haiku.
They are being progressively replaced by submitted ones. I seek the best haiku available.
Every haiku is subject to periodic peer and guest review and after three months initial exposure,
is liable to be removed, at the editor's sole discretion, to the Dreaming Archive
The Dreaming Collection is intended to last forever.
Sections are not fixed. They will be adjusted to accommodate the haiku received and to
reflect the relative popularity of different themes. Please do not seek to either
fit within, or to avoid, existing sections.
By submitting their haiku, poets affirm they hold copyright to the haiku
and grant me the right to display them on this website.
I undertake to remove any haiku if so requested by the author.
